One of the best things about staying at Ghyll House Campsite in July is that Silsden’s biggest night of the summer is right on the doorstep. Proms on the Farm returns on Saturday 18 July 2026 — an evening of live music under the open sky, just a short hop along the road from the campsite.
Proms on the Farm 2026: what’s on
Now a firm fixture in the local calendar, Proms on the Farm takes over Jackson’s Field in Silsden for a joyous evening of brass, song and community spirit. This year’s line-up features the Tewit Silver Band with soloist Sarah Halstead, the Hot Aire Concert Band, and — new for 2026 — The Puretones. There is a raffle and tombola, food and drink, and the whole night raises money for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice and Silsden Methodist Church.
Bring a picnic, a rug or some low chairs, and a Union flag or two for the big sing-along finish. Tickets are on sale now through Eventbrite.

Getting there from the campsite
The venue, Jackson’s Field, is about a ten-minute drive from Ghyll House — drop down into Addingham, join the A65 and then the A6034 towards Silsden. The field sits beside the River Aire near the roundabout where the A6034 meets the A629, about half a mile from the centre of Silsden. Pop the postcode BD20 0EH into your satnav, or check the organisers’ venue directions.
There is parking on the event site itself — the organisers ask that you use it rather than parking on the roadside, where cars have been ticketed in the past.

See photos from previous years
Want a taste of the atmosphere before you go? The organisers keep galleries from recent years on their website — take a look at the 2025 photos (and earlier years) to see the crowds, the bands and the flags in full swing.
Make a night of it
With Proms on the Farm this close, the campsite makes a perfect base — enjoy the music, then stroll or roll back to the tent rather than driving home. If you fancy joining us for the weekend, book a pitch or a teepee. And for more ideas while you are here, see our guide to things to do in Ilkley.
