We’ve been busy behind the scenes at Ghyll House Campsite this year, and we’re really excited to finally share what we’ve been working on. We now have two fully-fitted glamping teepees available to book — and if we say so ourselves, Chrissy has done a brilliant job with them.
We wanted to offer something that gives you the proper Ghyll House Campsite experience — the moor, the views, the farm, the fresh air — without anyone having to worry about poles, pegs, or sleeping on the floor. So here’s what we’ve put together.

The Couples Teepee — from £180 for 2 nights

The couples teepee is dressed for a proper getaway. There’s a double bed made up with fresh bedding and towels, bedside tables with candles, a reed diffuser, wicker chairs, and a patterned rug underfoot. It feels more like a cosy bedroom than a tent — which is rather the point.
Outside you have your own picnic bench and a fire pit with a 10kg bag of wood and kindling included. On a clear evening, sitting by the fire with Wharfedale spread out below you and the stars coming out overhead, it’s hard to imagine anywhere better.

Inside you’ll find a welcome tray with a kettle, mugs, and Kilner jars of tea, coffee, sugar and milk — because no stay at Ghyll House Campsite should start without a proper brew.

Minimum 2 night stay, from £180.
The Family Teepee — from £200 for 2 nights

The family teepee sleeps four and comes with the same level of care and thought. The bedding — Highland cattle print with a mustard velvet cushion, since you asked — has become something of a talking point already. The tent is fully furnished with everything you need, and the same fire pit, wood, picnic bench and welcome tray are included.
The views from the door of this tent are something you won’t forget in a hurry. Step outside in the morning and the whole of Wharfedale is laid out in front of you, with Beamsley Beacon on the horizon.

Minimum 2 night stay, from £200.

Our glamping teepees tend to book up over summer, so it is worth getting in touch early.
